Top 5 Finest Dining Design Restaurants in NYC

A multicultural city, like New York, has a lot of amazing restaurants with stunning dishes and different types of gastronomy to offer, usually it´s a dilemma to choose which restaurant we should visit. Today, Deco NY is going to introduce you to our Top 5 designed restaurants that you should visit!

Momofuku

Momofuku is a group of restaurants owned by chef and founder David Chang, with locations in New York City, Sidney and Toronto. The name can be translated from Japanese to “lucky peach”, although the Chef assert that the name is “an indirect nod” to Momofuku Ando – Taiwanese-Japanese inventor of instant ramen -, he also suggest that is not an accident that he had chose a word that sounds like “motherfucker” in English. If you are thinking on visiting one of the restaurants of this group you’ll find ramen, seasonal dishes and a variety of buns.

Eleven Madison Park

In Madison Avenue, you’ll find Eleven Madison Park restaurant that have won several awards. This space is perfect in creating the perfect balance between incredible food and a fantastic service. Co-owners Daniel Humm and Will Guidara decided to run the restaurant from both sides of the wall and the mix of talent and charisma of both owners makes the visit to this restaurant a unforgettable experience. Usually, each plate is playful and interactive. The menu it is based on New York’s rich agricultural bounty, besides that the dishes are frequently adapted and tailored specifically for guests.

The NoMad Hotel

Another partnership between Chef Daniel Humm and Restaurateur Will Guidara, The NoMad Hotel can be described by its casually elegant food and beverage program. Their inspiration drifts from Chef Daniel’s time spent in Switzerland, California and New York City and has rooted the same traditions as their critically acclaimed Michelin three-star rated Eleven Madison Park. The space encompasses a series of rooms surrounding a glass-enclosed atrium and features a refined yet approachable menu with a wine program.

Per Se

Per Se is Thomas Keller’s acclaimed reinterpretation of The French Laundry. The design of the space is signed by Adam D. Tihany and the place features a peaceful, but also intimate environment, with amazing views to Central Park and Columbus Circle. A restaurant with three-Michelin stars has a daily nine-course tasting menu and a nine-course vegetable tasting menu that features classic French technique and the finest quality ingredients available.

Le Bernardin

Born in Paris, this restaurant is the result of a close work between Maguy and the Chef Eric Ripert, a disciple of Gilbert Le Coze. Le Bernardin earned four stars from The New York Times three months after its opening and never had dropped a star throughout five reviews and it is also the only restaurant to maintain this rating for that length of time. The menu is only compound by fish – fresh, simple and prepared with respect.
