After showing you The Best Brands at AD Show 2017 and the Best Hotels to visit in New York during one of the most exciting weeks of design in the city that never sleeps, DecoNY brings you The Best Restaurants to Visit and still be inspired by their amazing design interior!
Famous for its glitz and glamour, it’s no surprise that New York City is home to some of the most stunning restaurants in the world. Notable for their outstanding fare and highly visual design flair, DecoNY profiles 5 of the most beautifully-designed places to eat in New York – from the elegant to the ultra-trendy.
Buddakan
Stephen Starr’s contemporary Asian spot on the edge of the Meatpacking District uses its oversized space to full effect, with a large gold Buddha figure dominating the 30-seat banquet table in the ‘grand hall.’
Megu Midtown
Megu Midtown is a more intimate space, and the design rises vertically to enhance the high ceilings. The dining room features giant lamp pillars, family crest emblems and a 27-foot-long hand drawn tiger mural, not to mention a 500 lb. crystal chandelier.
Le Grenouille
Meant to feel like home, Le Grenouille is a quaint and picturesque escape from the modern lifestyle.
Jean Georges
This elegant space in Columbus Circle is the perfect canvas for Jean George Vongerichten’s best-in-class French cuisine.
One if by Land, Two if by Sea
One if by Land, Two if by Sea has been recognized for its classic menu, long history, and beautiful decor. It is often cited as the most romantic restaurant in New York City. The decor features candlelit tables, brick fireplaces, a baby grand piano and a private garden.
